Fit for a Hollywood executive, this Estate in the heart of Los Angeles was designed to reflect an understated elegance. With beautifully finished, stone winding staircases, triple height ceilings in the entrance, with a 16 candle chandelier, striking statement piece furniture and large scale artwork, every corner of this home stands with the self-assured yet relaxed confidence that is typical of California living. ​ For this project it was important that we maintained an atmosphere of sophistication and elegance while speaking to the uniquely Californian architecture and warm 'doors open' lifestyle of the Hollywood Hills. As such we created effortless visual and physical connections to the plentiful outdoor spaces. Comfort and openness thus became the focuses of this project tied together with a consistent context of nature by using wood centric furniture, natural stone tiling and textured finishes.
